RAHIM YAR KHAN: At least three people were killed in different incidents in the city on Tuesday.

A police official told Express News that a speeding trailer collided with a water tanker on the National Highway. As a result, 43-year-old Saddarul din, who was driving the water tanker, was killed on the spot while his partner Shah Zaman suffered critical injuries.

After the incident, the trailer driver fled the scene, said police. A case has been registered against the accused and further investigations are under way.

In another incident, a tractor-trolley crushed a 30-year-old woman to death. Police said that the deceased Mai Siyani, a resident of Daulat Pur, was crossing the road when the tractor-trolley hit her.

Meanwhile, unknown suspects strangled a young boy to death and then dumped his body at the Agriculture College ground.
