The aim of this programme was to brief lady health workers about the latest techniques for the prevention of TB.

A one-day TB Round-VI Programme for lady health workers was held here in the Basic Health Unit of District Headquarter Eidgah Astore, under the supervision of Social Officer Naseem Ara. The aim of this programme was to brief lady health workers about the latest techniques for the prevention of TB in the area and to adopt the necessary measures to beat the disease. Naseem Ara said that, “We delivered the necessary information to lady health workers for the prevention of TB and safety precautions.” She also said that TB patients are mostly women and this is because of social discrimination. She appealed to the people of the area to admit any suspected TB patient in the nearest hospital without any delay for proper and timely treatment.
