Refresher Course Three-day eyecare workshop ends
The workshop was conducted to refresh the knowledge regarding prevention and management of common eye problems.
PESHAWAR:
A three-day training workshop was conducted by Fata Comprehensive Eye Care Services to refresh the knowledge of ophthalmic technicians working in Fata regarding prevention and management of common eye problems. Participants including ophthalmic technicians and operation theatre assistants from ophthalmology units in different areas of Fata including Mohmand Agency, Khyber Agency, Kurram Agency, North Waziristan and Orakzai Agency. Lectures were delivered about the utilization of diagnostic instruments in OPD, diagnosis of common eye problems and prevention of communicable eye disease. He suggested that such training sessions be held on a quarterly basis to help combat and reduce eye diseases in the region.
