Another FIR lodged against Hamza Shehbaz

Blames the PML-N leader of torture and violence

Another FIR has been lodged against Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz leader Hamza Shehbaz in the North Cantonment Police Station on the complaint of Ayesha Ahad.

The FIR has been registered against Hamza, Imran Ali, and her driver Sarwar under sections 149, 506, 382, 148, 354, 342 of Pakistan Penal Code (PPC).

The complaint states that Ahad got married to Hamza in 2010 and they were living peacefully. Then in 2011, after returning from Umrah, [Hamza] sent a driver who told her that they were shifting the luggage to a new house, it adds.

It further says the driver took her to a house in Model Town where Hamza and Yusuf were present. They presented him with some documents to sign, which she refused. After this, they started torturing her.

According to the complaint, while being tortured, her clothes were also ripped. Listening to her hue and cry people in nearby intervened and she managed to flee from the scene with the driver, Sarwar.

The driver was in contact with Hamza and instead of taking her to some safe place, took her to some deserted house on Walton Road.


It is alleged that there, accused Imran and Hamza again tortured her and kept her locked in the house. After a few days, Ahad somehow managed to escape.

The abused after her release filed complaints in different police stations.

Ahad in the FIR has also alleged that the nominated persons trespassed into her house in Nisar Colony and looted valuables.

She said that “she had registered complaints in different police stations and gone to the courts for justice, but was not heard at any forum."

SC orders removal of barriers outside Hamza's residence

On June 2, she appeared before Chief Justice of Pakistan Mian Saqib Nisar, who issued orders for the registration of an FIR.

As a result, an FIR was registered against Hamza Shahbaz, Imran Ali, Senator Rana Maqbool, Inspector Ateeq Dogar, Zulfiqar Cheema and others at Islampura Police Station on the complaint of Ahad.
