Victoria, David Beckham shut down divorce rumours
Rumours of an alleged split have been doing the rounds on social media
Victoria and David Beckham’s representatives have denied rumours that the A-list British couple is headed for a divorce.
Rumours of an alleged split have been doing the rounds on social media since early Friday morning, with some high street bookmakers even starting betting on them parting ways.

"There is no statement due, no divorce, and a lot of Chinese whispers and fake social media news," the couple’s spokesperson told The Sun, adding that these speculations were “all very bizarre and an embarrassing waste of time.”
Victoria herself also seemed to hit back at the rumours when she posted a photo of her with daughter Harper on Instagram featuring the message, “We love and miss you @davidbeckham.”

The same day, both David and Victoria announced on their social media accounts that they would be putting the outfits they wore to the recent Royal Wedding up for a charity auction, with the proceeds going to the We Love Manchester Emergency Fund to help families affected by last year’s terror attack.
The stars, who tied the knot in 1999, are parents to sons Brooklyn, 19, Romeo, 15, Cruz, 13, and daughter Harper, 7. David and Victoria began dating back in 1997 after the Spice Girls attended a Manchester United match. The couple soon came to be known as ‘Posh and Becks’ in the media and became one of the most recognisable couples in show business.

Last year, in an interview with Dutch Vogue, Victoria opened up about the happy household she shares with David. "He and I have a lot of fun together," she shared. "If I really was as miserable as I look in some of those paparazzi pictures, my children wouldn't be as happy as they are. And I certainly wouldn't be married anymore."
In a letter Victoria wrote to her 18-year-old self for British Vogue, she describes the moment she fell in love with David. "Yes, love at first sight does exist. It will happen to you in the Manchester United players' lounge,” wrote the singer.
David and Victoria Beckham will clock in 19 years of marriage next month.
