Victim says she escaped from culprits after the incident

RAHIM YAR KHAN: A woman was allegedly raped by three men in Kot Dariya area on Thursday.

A Saddar police station official told Express News that victim A* lodged a complaint at the police station in which she stated that she was alone at her home when accused Aijaz Ahmed, along with two others, barged in and abducted her.

She added that the culprits took her to an undisclosed location in a vehicle where they sexually assaulted her.  The victim stated that she managed to escape from the custody of the accused and reached the police station for help.

On the complaint of victim, the police registered a case against the accused and started investigation.

Earlier on June 6, a 13-year-old boy was sexually assaulted in Mianwali. The police said the victim went to Pai Khel station to buy grocery items. However, when he did not return home, his brother went looking for him.

On hearing screams from the fields, the victim’s brother rushed to the spot and found accused Ziaullah sexually abusing the boy.

Meanwhile, unknown assailant strangled a 30-year-old man with the help of a rope and threw the body in Head Manthar.

The police shifted the body to hospital for legal formalities. However, the identity of the deceased could not be ascertained. A murder case has been registered against unidentified suspects.
