The chief justice has recently been quite active with visits to government-run facilities e.g hospital and schools in Punjab, Sindh and Khyber Pakhtunkhwa in order to inspect the quality of medical care and standard of education given at such facilities.
He has also taken up a number of suo motu notices for issues related to violation of basic human rights especially when they are concerning deprivation of quality healthcare, education and water for the public.
