One Piece, Three Ways: Shafaq Habib Jewellery

Three style-savvy ladies work with jewels by Shafaq Habib Jewellery

While trends fade, style remains eternal and one piece can be put together in many different ways. In this feature we have three fashionistas showing us how to put together an item from a designer’s collection, according to their own individual style and taste!

This stand-out piece by Shafaq Habib Jewellery is something every girl should have in her trousseau! The delicate pearl string juxtaposed with green cabochon makes it versatile enough to pair with both eastern and western ensembles. Pair with a feminine top for a brunch or with an exquisite sari for an evening affair

Saris are eternal. I especially picked out my mother’s pure silk, hand painted sari to match Shafaq Habib’s stunning silver pendant with rosecut diamonds, pearls and green cabochon along with the beautiful dainty tasseled earrings. I am someone who cherishes and appreciates the simplicity and classiness of saris and with this one in particular, I tried to keep the look very soft, with open hair and dewy make-up. The colours were enhanced in the sunlight, making this a perfect formal daytime look for all seasons.

I styled this unique piece with a mint tunic, keeping my look minimal to enhance the beauty of the green cabochon. Pastels are always a win for me so I chose to go subtle with a fuchsia pout, bouncy waves and teal heels. The pendant set with pearls goes well with summery looks for a day occasion or a night out.

What can be better than a string of pearls? I paired these gorgeous Shafaq Habib tassel earrings and necklace with a monochrome outfit. The white one shoulder top by Bina Mahmood was perfect to highlight my favourite emerald stone and the black flared pants gave it a chic look for a formal dinner. I kept the make-up light with nude lips to enable the stone to stand out. I love how it can be styled both with modern and traditional outfits.
