Hepatitis Drive: Policemen’s camp extended till June 30
The camp is part of an ongoing programme of the Sindh police to test its officers and personnel for hepatitis B and C.

Inspector General of Police (IGP) Sindh Fayyaz Ahmed Laghari has extended the last date of the hepatitis screening camp for police personnel till June 30. The camp is part of an ongoing programme of the Sindh police to test all its officers and personnel for hepatitis B and C. The IGP, addressing a meeting of senior police officials, said that he had decided to extend the date as policemen were unable to get tested due to the law and order situation in the city. The IGP also instructed AIG Welfare Ali Sher Jakhrani to ensure that families of policemen who have been killed are paid compensation in time.
