RAHIM YAR KHAN: A five-year-old child died after a hut caught fire in Sadiqabad on Wednesday.
Police said that the hut of Gul Hasan Koch, a labourer hailing from Chak number P-38, suddenly caught fire. The flames quickly engulfed the whole hut in which Gul’s five-year-old child was burnt to death while his seven-year-old child also suffered from severe burns.

The injured and the deceased were immediately shifted to the hospital for treatment and legal formalities.
A police official told Express News that the fire completely engulfed the entire structure and reduced all valuables to ashes. The cause of the fire cannot yet be ascertained, he added.
