Crocodile kills pastor during baptism ceremony in Ethiopia
Docho Eshete dies right after the crocodile bites his back and limbs
In a gruesome occurrence, a crocodile killed a protestant pastor in Ethiopia as he was baptising his followers near a lake.
The pastor, Docho Eshete, was conducting the ceremony for nearly 80 people on Sunday near Lake Abaya in Merkeb Tabya district, BBC reported.
Eyewitnesses and police said that a crocodile sprung from the water and attacked the pastor.
He expired right after the crocodile bit his back and limbs.

"He baptised the first person and he passed on to another one. All of a sudden, a crocodile jumped out of the lake and grabbed the pastor," local resident Ketema Kairo said.
Even after their continuous attempts, fishermen and locals failed to salvage pastor Docho, police said.
However, they used fishing nets to prevent the crocodile from taking the pastor's body into the lake, the police added.
The crocodile bolted.
