Paresh Rawal confirms Narendra Modi biopic
Actor will be seen playing the lead as the controversial Indian prime minister
Since three decades, Bollywood actor Paresh Rawal has been a part of numerous blockbusters. He will next be seen as Sunil Dutt in Rajkumar Hirani's Sanju which is due to release on June 29. While the actor feels honoured to play the role, he believes he has a more challenging one ahead.

According to The Indian Express, Rawal will be essaying Indian prime minister Narendra Modi in his next project.
Earlier, there were reports that a biopic will be made on the controversial public figure but nothing was confirmed. However, Rawal himself has recently admitted that the film will go on floors in the next few months and confirmed that he will be producing it as well.
"We are just locking the script and hopefully it will finish soon. We will begin to shoot it in September or October this year," stated Rawal.
Being a member of Indian political party BJP and a member of the Parliament, Rawal previously shared that getting into Modi's shoes will not be an easy task. "It will be a hugely challenging role," he added.
I love Pakistani TV serials, Indian shows are boring: Paresh Rawal
In 1994, Rawal essayed the role of India's first deputy prime minister Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel for the film Sardar. Fans believe that the 63-year-old actor will excel playing Modi as well and can't wait to see his first look as the leader of the ruling party.
Much like Rawal, Anupam Kher is also a part of an upcoming biopic on another Indian prime minister. Kher will be seen as Manmohan Singh in The Accidental Prime Minister. It'll be exciting to see two of the most sought-after actors of Indian cinema play such intense characters.
