The shopkeepers told Express News that due to the extreme temperatures and fasts, people visit the markets less often in the day.

The rush starts increasing after iftar, the shopkeepers said, adding that women are choosing lighter shades of cloth this Eid because of the hot temperature in the city.

The shopkeepers try to keep more garments with lighter shades in their shops than darker shades to be able to attract more customers.
