Police officials have arrested a gang leader wanted on different counts of robbery and kidnapping for ransom.

Police officials have arrested a gang leader wanted on different counts of robbery and kidnapping for ransom. Police recovered several stolen items and illegal weapons from his possession on Friday. DPO Waqar Abbasi said that the police had raided the hide out of the robbers and managed to catch the ring leader, Ghulam Abbas. During the raid, Amjad Khan, Shah Rasool Khan and Muhammad Sabar managed to escape. The DPO said that the police had also recovered two cars, a pistol and bullets from the scene. He said the accused was involved in various crimes and was wanted in other cities as well. Raids are being conducted to arrest the remaining accomplices.
