Double Murder: Brother-in-law arrested
Brother-in-law of one of the two women killed in beauty parlour arrested by police.

The Model Town CIA on Friday arrested a brother-in-law of one of the two women murdered in a beauty parlour at Barkat Market, Garden Town, on May 15.
Police officials said that Munir Ahmad, brother-in-law of the deceased Khadija Nazim, was arrested on suspicion of his involvement in the double murder at the parlour. The Garden Town police had arrested Nazim, Khadija’s husband and the owner of the parlour, the same day. A parallel inquiry led to Munir Ahmad, Nazim’s brother, who police said, had confessed to the crime.
He had told the police that he had developed an understanding with his brother’s wife and had given her money for opening a beauty parlour. He said Khadija, who had temporarily separated from her husband, had later reconciled with him. This made him furious and he killed her and her niece who was in the parlour at the time.
