Public Works: Woman engineer claims unfair treatment
She was to replace Zubair Ahmad, but he managed to have notification of her posting withdrawn.

The Lahore High Court Chief Justice on Friday sought comments from Ministry of Housing and Works secretary and the Public Works Department (PWD) director general on a writ petition filed by a woman executive engineer against her frequent transfers for June 3.
The petitioner said she was promoted as executive engineer on December 22, 2010, and posted at Central Civil Division No3, PWD, Lahore.
Khan said she was to replace Zubair Ahmad, but he managed to have notification of her posting withdrawn. She complained to the authorities concerned and the posting order was again issued on April 21.
Finally, she assumed charge on April 22 but Ahmad was again assigned to the job on May 16 and she was ordered to relinquish duties, she said.
The petitioner pleaded that the order of May 16 was illegal and mala fide. She prayed the court declare the order illegal.
