Ace drummer Louis J Pinto, popularly known as Gumby, joined hands with Kashan Admani, Asad Rasheed, Natasha Khan, Kamran Zafar, Veeru Shan and Alex Shahbaz to cover the song, stating that the late guitarist inspired many musicians.
My last conversation with Aamir Zaki
Unlike most covers which have failed to even get close to the original - this one didn't fall short. Obviously, it wasn't up to Zaki's level when it comes to vocal and of course, strumming, but that doesn't mean the rendition doesn't deserve praises.
The tune seem to be exactly what Zaki would have wanted as a cover as Rasheed and Khan take the lead. Gumby being Gumby has aced his role as the drummer as well.
Remembering Aamir Zaki
It's no surprise that the musicians have done a tremendous job staying true to Zaki's roots considering they have all worked with him in the past. The video further compliments the late guitarist's times in the industry as it shows images of him throughout the span of his career.

Earlier, Pepsi Battle of the Bands winner Kashmir, also performed a cover of Mera Pyar on the show. The band managed to wow crowds with their version of the song, hence implying that Zaki is a name that will be remembered for all of the eternity.
