Tennis: Aqeel clinches Pharma Open title
He outclassed Nomi Qamar 6-1, 3-6, 6-1 in the final.
Aqeel Khan clinched the men’s singles title of the AJM Pharma Open Ranking Tennis Championship as he outclassed Nomi Qamar 6-1, 3-6, 6-1 in the final. Mohammad Abdul Saeed grabbed the seniors 35-plus singles title while Gul Hameed won the seniors 45-plus event. In the mixed under-15 singles category Shahroz Mushtaq defeated Saud Shoaib 6-4, 7-5 while in the mixed under-13 singles event Hasan Farooq won the final, outclassing Nazif Ahmed 4-6, 6-3, 7-5.
