Supreme Court orders health secretary to create an independent search committee
LAHORE:
The Supreme Court ordered the removal of Lahore General Hospital (LGH) Principal Dr Ghiasun Nabi Tayyab on Saturday.
The court ordered the health secretary to create an independent search committee in order to appoint a new principal within the next two months.

In addition, the bench directed that the search committee seek approval from the court.
The bench, headed by Pakistan Chief Justice Mian Saqib Nisar, passed these orders during a suo moto hearing regarding the conditions of public hospitals at the Lahore Supreme Court Registry.
