MULTAN: Education Department teams would be formed to monitor the violation of summer vacations schedule given by the government, Javed Afzal, the Education executive district officer (EDO) said on Thursday. Afzal said that action would be taken against schools found opened after the June 1 notification. “In case of violation, these institutions could lose their registration,” he said while talking to some reporters. He also said that only those schools will be allowed to hold summer camps that acquire legal permission from the Punjab govt. He said that all private schools had been instructed to receive fee for the vacations on monthly basis instead of a sum of the three months for the parents’ convenience.

Once the vacations/Summer camps are over, they will be lucky to get even a couple of days off for some rest and family time. There is no concept of annual/earned leave in private schools and colleges.
