Local MPA’s son beats rent-a-car-owner
Victim had borrowed money from a friend of the accused
GUJRANWALA:
The son of a local MPA and his accomplices allegedly assaulted a rent-a-car business owner, injuring him badly and damaging his shop in Gujranwala.
Police told Express News that Kashif Hafeez owns a business by the name lolof Khokhar Rent-A-Car and was present at his shop when the son of a local MPA, Abdullah Qaisar, accompanied by Salman Nasir Sindhu and eight to 10 accomplices, barged in and started beating Kashif.

While beating him up, the accused kept threatening the victim and told him to return the money of their friend. They broke windows of the shop and severely injured Kashif after beating him mercilessly.
Salman allegedly also took Rs35,000 form Kashif’s wallet and fled the scene before threatening him of dire consequences.
Later, Salman sent a message to Kashif, saying that the latter would be responsible for the consequences if the money was not returned.
Meanwhile, the People’s Colony police registered a case and initiated proceedings against the accused based on complaint of the victim.
When contacted, local MPA Qaiser Sindhu said that he will look into the matter and the victim will be compensated.
Meanwhile, the tortured body of a 40-year old missing man was recovered from Sarai Alamgir.
The police said that Usman Akram had left his home with a friend, but later went missing. His cellphone was also turned off. However, two days later, his tortured body was found and recovered by the police.
