Producer shared that he is trying to resume his life after wife Sridevi's passing

Bollywood film producer Boney Kapoor, whose wife Sridevi passed away earlier this year, has said that he is trying to resume his life for the sake of his daughers, Jahnvi and Khushi Kapoor, reported Masala!

Sridevi and Boney Kapoor's controversial love story

Boney was shocked at the sudden demise of Sridevi back in February. The couple was in Dubai to attend a family wedding when the latter drowned in her hotel bathroom. Since Sridevi's passing, step-siblings Arjun and Anshula Kapoor have extended their support to Jahnvi and Khushi.

Speaking of Sridevi's unfortunate death, Boney said, "She was suddenly gone. These past months have been very difficult. Everything went on a freeze-pause in our lives. There were so many things left unsaid and undone."

The film-maker added that he is finally picking up the pieces and trying to put his life back together for his daughters. Boney shared, "I am trying to resume my life and am yet to come to terms with the fact that she’s gone forever. I am also  trying to be both, a mother and a father, to my children."

The couple's older daughter Jahnvi is due to make her Bollywood debut with Karan Johar's Dhadak this year. The 21-year-old and her family is sure to miss Sridevi at this occasion as she would have loved to see her daughter step into the industry.

Sridevi was given a state funeral. She was also awarded with the Best Actress Award for her performance in Mom at the National Awards in Delhi this month. The Cannes Film Festival also honoured the late actor for her contribution to cinema and making a mark on the world.
