A police official told Express News that the victim’s father submitted an application at the police station in which he stated that his 10-year old son, a motorcycle mechanic, was sexually assaulted by his trainer, Abbas, while working at the shop.
He added that after committing the offence, the accused fled the scene and left his son in an unconscious state.
He stated that after receiving information of the tragic incident, he reached the spot and shifted his son to a rural health centre in Ahmedpur for treatment.
The police said that a case has been registered against the accused, while all efforts were being made to arrest the culprit. Further investigation was under way.
Earlier, an eight-year-old girl was sexually assaulted in Muzaffargarh. Police said that eight-year-old (F)*, a resident of Basera area, had gone to her grandmother’s house for some work where the girl’s relative, Mohsin, allegedly raped her. He added when the victim a raised hue and cry, the accused fled the scene.
Later, the police arrested the suspect and registered a case against him.
