Poverty Alleviation: German donor satisfied with projects

140 children including 78 girls have enrolled in the school constructed by Pakistan Poverty Alleviation Fund.

Pakistan Poverty Alleviation Fund (PPAF) is one of the best models to implement development projects for benefit of marginalized and poor communities in the country, said deputy director-general Ministry of Economic Cooperation and Development Germany Andreas Gies during his visit to the German Development Bank (KfW)-funded community infrastructure project executed by PPAF in village Sher Afzal Banda near Swabi on Wednesday. As many as 140 children including 78 girls have enrolled in the school constructed by PPAF while the basic health centre would provide healthcare services to Sher Afzal Banda and 10 adjoining villages in the area, the press release added.
