Adding another feather to her cap, film-maker and activist Sharmeen Obaid-Chinoy has been awarded an honorary degree from the prestigious Smith College for her efforts in documentary journalism in advancing human rights.
Sharmeen received her bachelor's degree in Economics and Government from Smith College back in 2002. This time around, her degree from the prestigious university is in Fine Arts, honoris causa.

The two-time Academy Award winner previously released Pakistan’s first virtual reality film series Look But With Love in August last year.
