Seven more fall prey to stray dog attacks
Injured were shifted to different hospitals for treatment

Seven more people were attacked and injured by stray dogs in Rahim Yar Khan on Monday.
Rescue officials told Express News that an unidentified man was passing through Rukanpur area when stray dogs attacked him. As a result, he suffered severe injuries and was taken to a hospital in critical condition.
Similarly, two women were also bitten by stray dogs in Massanabad area while they were cutting grass. Both the injured victims were shifted to a local hospital for treatment.
Meanwhile, four labourers identified as Dildar, Shahid, Umar and Khalid were attacked by a group of stray dogs while they were on their way to work. The injured were shifted to a hospital and being provided treatment. Earlier on May 20, a four-year-old girl was attacked by stray dogs in Mehmodabad Basti.
Sajid Mehmood’s four-year-old daughter Rabia Bibi was playing outside her house when stray dogs attacked her. As a result, she suffered severe injuries and was taken to a hospital for treatment.
The residents said that stray dogs had been roaming in the area for some time and had bitten many children in the past. They added the people had lodged several complaints regarding dog attacks but the district health department had turned deaf ears to their requests.
They also demanded the government to register a case against district health department officials and take action against them for their negligence in controlling increasing dog bite incidents.
