Merit: LHC against abuse of influence
Strict action would be taken against those involved. A directive was issued in this respect by the LHC registrar.

Lahore High Court Chief Justice Ijaz Ahmad Chaudhry on Wednesday took notice of some High Court officers seeking to influence the district judiciary affairs.
The chief justice (CJ) directed all district and sessions judges, senior civil judges and officers against ‘misusing’ their official position by interfering in the recruitment process and judicial businesses of the courts. He said strict action would be taken against those involved. A directive was issued in this respect by the LHC registrar, Sohail Nasir.
