Alleged Criminals: Remand extended for TTP members
The judge had initially remanded them till May 18 but extended it till May 20.
KARACHI:
A city court extended on Wednesday the physical remand of four alleged members of the banned Tehrik-e-Taliban Pakistan.
Maaz Ali, Habibur Rehman, Babar Iqbal and Habibullah were apprehended on May 12 from Frontier Colony after encountering the police. They were presented before Judicial Magistrate Azizullah Khoso on three criminal charges, including attempted murder, on May 13.
The judge had initially remanded them till May 18 but extended it till May 20. A large cache of arms and ammunition were seized from the suspects. One of the accused is a student at Karachi University.
