54 officers martyred in terrorist attacks this year: Brigadier Sattar
Appeals to people to cooperate with security personnel
Frontier Corps Sector Commander Brigadier Tasawar Sattar has said that Pakistan is on the front line against war on terror but internal elements do not want to see a peaceful and prosperous Pakistan due to which incidents of unrest are taking place.
“People should keep an eye out for anti-social elements and cooperate with the forces,” said Brigadier Sattar while addressing an Iftar party hosted in honour of the people by the FC on Friday.
Operation Raad-ul-Fasaad: At least 20 'militants' arrested in Balochistan raids
Many people attended the Iftar party and assured the FC of their full support. Lieutenant Colonel Kashif Mubashir and Colonel Ali Hussain were also present on the occasion.
Brigadier Hussain said, “In terrorist attacks this year, 54 security forces officers have been martyred, which include 37 police officers.”
He appealed to the people to consider the personnel manning check posts as their brothers and support them in every possible way.
