KMU to hire additional faculty for Kohat campus
Move comes following university selection board recommendation
PESHAWAR:
The Khyber Medical University (KMU) Peshawar, on the recommendation of the university selection board (USB), has decided to fill various vacant positions of professors, associate professors, assistant professors, lecturers through new appointments and some administration cadre positions through promotions.
These decisions were taken during a meeting of KMU’s syndicate which met under the chairmanship of the varsity’s Vice Chancellor Professor Dr Arshad Javaid.
The syndicate, on the recommendation of the USB, decided to appoint a professor for Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery, an associate professor of Prosthodontics, an associate professor of oral medicine, assistant professor Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery, and an assistant professor for Prosthodontics at the KMU Institute of Dental Sciences (KIDS) in Kohat.
Moreover, it decided to hire an associate professor of medicine, an associate professor in paediatrics, an assistant professor of medicine and an assistant professor of radiology at the KMU Institute of Medical Sciences in Kohat.
