Multan Education Board initiates investigation and also sought a report from the forensics lab

MULTAN: The Gulgusht police station has registered a case against a school teacher in Toba Tek Singh over the possession of a fake matric certificate.

A police official told Express News that Chiragh Khan appeared in the matric exam but failed to clear it. However, he added the accused was employed as a school teacher.

When the matter was disclosed, the Multan Education Board initiated investigation and also sought a report from the forensics lab. The results of the report revealed that Chiragh used a fake matric certificate to obtain the job. The police have registered a case and initiated investigation.

Meanwhile, the anti-corruption department apprehended the former administrator of provincial highway department from Wapda Town.

He has been shifted to anti-corruption office. Officials said the administrator was nabbed on the charges of paying billions over forged recruitment. The accused formulated forged registries for land acquisition from Chungi No 1 to Machli Mandi.

Through these forged registries, billions were withdrawn from the national exchequer. The administrator has also kept the land acquisition record with him. The anti-corruption has obtained the details of the properties of the administrator.
