Kidnapped sailors: Indian MP continues delaying payment

The Indian Member of Parliament KD Singh has yet to transfer his share of the ransom to pay the Somali pirates, said Human Rights Activist Ansar Burney speaking to the media in Karachi on Wednesday.
Burney said he would wait for a response from the Indian MP till Thursday evening.
He further added that if KD Singh did not respond, an appeal will be made to the public to raise the remainder amount.
Singh had pledged to chip in $500,00 in the ransom needed for the release of abducted sailors but had now gone back on his words and had ceased to attend his calls according to Burney.
