PM secretariat in trouble for not paying electricity bill
Electric company says the institutions were issued notices to pay their due bills within two days.

Islamabad Electric Supply Company (IESCO) added the Prime Minister Secretariat and the Parliament House to the defaulters' list and warned that they would severe their electricity connection if the bills were not paid.
Sources said that these institutions were issued notices to pay the bill in two days or their electricity connections would be cut.
Parliament lodges owe Rs13.5 million while the Parliament House has to pay Rs40 million in dues to the electric company.
Similarly, Cantt block is defaulting on Rs28 million while the Punjab Works Department (PWD) needs to pay Rs50 million.
Sources said that the Parliament Secretariat is also defaulting on their dues while the responsibility of the bill of the Shaheed Millat Secretariat is with the PWD.
