AJK gets new chief secretary
Government transfers several bureaucrats on different posts
MUZZAFARABAD:
Pakistan Administrative Service group BS- 21 officer Waheed-ud-Din, who was earlier serving under the government of Punjab, has been transferred and posted as chief secretary of Azad Jammu and Kashmir (AJK) with immediate effect.
He has replaced Dr Ejaz Munir who has been promoted and posted as Aviation Division secretary under the federal government.
Meanwhile, the AJK government on Tuesday transferred Muzaffarabad Development Authority (MDA) Chairman Chaudhry Muhammad Raqeeb and posted him as Anti- Corruption Establishment director general.
Malik Muhammad Ayyaz, a political worker, has been appointed as the MDA chairman in place of Raqeeb.
The incumbent Anti-Corruption Establishment Director General Raja Muhammad Irshad has been transferred and posted as the AJK Technical Education and Vocational Training Authority (AJK-TEVTA) secretary. Khawaja Muhammad Tariq, TEVTA secretary, has been transferred and posted as TEVTA chairman against the vacant post.
