CDA carries out anti-encroachment operation in Aabpara Market
Officials said that they had removed seven truck-loads of material from encroachers

The Capital Development Authority (CDA) Tuesday carried out an operation against encroachments and illegal constructions in the Aabpara Market.
The Enforcement Directorate of the authority carried out the operation in collaboration with the Islamabad Capital Territory (ICT) Administration and the Islamabad Police.
During the operation, encroachment set up outside shops while covering walkways and footpaths were removed. Encroachment in parking areas, public pathways, corridors and verandas of various plazas were also removed.
Officials said that they had removed seven truck-loads of material from encroachers.
Moreover, during the operation, three illegal shutters, two stairs and partition walls built in verandahs of three plazas were also dismantled and the verandahs were opened to the public.
Further, a security cabin built outside a plaza was also removed.
A few elements tried to stop the operation and resisted the authority’s enforcers, however, the operation was completed successfully.
