Zafar Haider Jappa, a grade-18 officer of Inland Revenue Service, has been promoted in grade-19. Jappa is currently working on deputation basis as the chief executive officer of Pakistan Human Development Fund since December 2017.
He is a reputed author of fiction and non-fiction works. His publications have been cited nationally and internationally.
Jappa has contributed on economic issues for The Express Tribune. The officer is a graduate of Government College Lahore, IBA Karachi, Potsdam University Germany and of Geneva Centre for Security Policy Switzerland.
