Ramazan security: Police seeks help from citizens

PCC members assured the police of their full cooperation

ISLAMABAD:
With Ramazan expected to start later this week, Islamabad Police on Sunday asked residents of the capital to help them enhance their vigilance during the holy month.

This was urged during a meeting between senior police officers and members of the Public Conciliatory Committees (PCC).

Following directives from Inspector General of Police IGP Islamabad Dr Sultan Azam Temuri and SSP (Operations) Islamabad, a formal meeting of the PCC was called by SP investigation Zubair Ahmad Sheikh. Committee members from the Industrial Area and Sabzi Mandi along with ASP Industrial Area Circle attended the meeting.


The meeting discussed the responsibilities of the PCC in detail, helping and addressing the grievances of the public without any delay.

The PCC Members were also briefed regarding their responsibilities during Ramazan. They assured the police of their full cooperation.
