Cricket: Adnan to play for Ireland club

Reiterates first priority is national team.

ISLAMABAD: Wicket-keeper Adnan Akmal will leave for Ireland today to participate in league cricket.

Adnan and brother Kamran Akmal have been playing club cricket recently at the Cricket Centre Lahore.

Adnan was offered to play for an Ireland club and the wicket-keeper accepted while also also admitting that his top priority was to represent the country and that he would join the national team whenever he is called.
