Jumma Bazaar of vehicles uprooted

TMA Chief Officer Shafqat Raza informed that during the operation 30 vehicles were impounded

RAWALPINDI: On the directives of Lahore High Court (LHC), on Friday Rawalpindi bench, Tehsil Municipal Administration (TMA) and City Traffic Police (CTP) collectively launched an operation against the Jumma Bazaar of the vehicles at Murree Road. TMA Chief Officer Shafqat Raza informed that during the operation, 30 vehicles were impounded and fines amounting to thousands of rupees were imposed, moreover, six FIR’s had also been lodged against the violators. He said that strict action had been taken against the violators adding that it would be ensured that the Jumma Bazar of vehicles should not be held on the roads adjacent to the Murree Road.
