Pakistan's High Commissioner in Canada Tariq Azim Khan is set to inaugurate the Muhammad Ali Jinnah Park in Manitoba which is the first ever park to be named after Quaid-i-Azam.

The park, which is situated in South Pointe, has come to fruition with the efforts of the Pakistani community in naming the park after Muhammad Ali Jinnah.

The Pakistani dignitary has been invited by the government of Manitoba, as well as, the Pakistani diaspora in Winnipeg on May 12.

The inauguration will take place at the Tim Sale, Northern Lights, South Pointe, Winnipeg, Manitoba.

Khan will meet the Lt Governor of Manitoba, Minister of Families, Minister of Trade and Education during the visit.
