Patriotic Poetry: Mushaira for national solidarity

RAHIM YAR KHAN: A ‘mushaira’ dedicated to promoting and preserving national solidarity will be held at Sheikh Zayed public school on May 17 and May 18. The poetry recitation has been arranged by the district government and will be attended by noted poets of the country including Amjad Islam Amjad, Wasi Shah, Iftikhar Arif, Abbas Tabish, said EDO (Finance) Babar Aman Babar. Babar also said that children from various schools would be reading poetry by Allama Iqbal, Faiz Ahmed Faiz and Habib Jalib on the occasion.  A large number of people are expected to attend the event.
