Karachi to establish a processing plant which will create 800 jobs

The Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Economic Zones Development and Management Company (KPEZDMC) has achieved another milestone by bringing $10 million investment to Hattar Industrial Estate. It provided window operations to Lodhia Gypsum, Karachi to establish a processing plant which will create 800 jobs. The ceremony held in this regard was attended by Senate Deputy Chairman Saleem Mandviwalla, KPEZDMC Chief Executive Officer Saeed Ahmad Khan among other prominent officials. Speaking on the occasion, Mandviwalla remarked, “Industrialisation is the backbone of the economy.” Also addressing the gathering, Khan said that their focus is on attracting further investment from Karachi in the hopes that the directors of the plant will encourage other industrialists from Karachi to follow suit.
