Two people killed in separate road accidents

SIALKOT: Two people, including a woman, were killed while another individual was injured in two separate road traffic accidents in Sialkot on Thursday.

Twenty two-year-old Usman was on his way back home on a motorcycle when he was hit by a tractor trolley near Deewana Wala Chowk. Usman sustained severe injuries as a result of the accident and died on the spot.

In a separate incident, 42-year-old Lateef and his wife 40-year-old Naseem were travelling on a motorcycle when they were hit by a speeding truck near Muslim Colony.

The incident killed Naseem instantly, critically injuring her husband, while the truck driver fled the scene of the crime.

Rescue workers rushed to the scene and transported the deceased’s body and the injured to a nearby hospital. Police have registered the separate cases and have started investigations.
