Encroachments still dominate markets across Sargodha

Despite earlier claims, encroachments still dominate markets across Sargodha, while the main business hub, Kacheri Bazaar, has been transformed into a rickshaw stand, reported Express News. Below signboards by the district administration prohibiting parking rickshaws, a multitude of vehicles stand making a mockery of the rules. Further, the yellow line designated by the municipal corporation to discourage encroachments has been removed by land grabbers. In addition, the encroachments keep on multiplying, openly challenging the authority of the district administration. Authorities should not keep promises it cannot fulfil, said citizens. With each passing day, the encroachers are multiplying, making it difficult for us to travel in and around the markets, they lamented.
