PML-N loses its FATA GS to PPP

National Assembly Member from Kurram Agency Sajid Hussain Toori and Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) General Secretary in Fata Sohail Afridi called on former president of Pakistan and President Pakistan Peoples Party-Parliamentarians Asif Ali Zardari at Bilawal House Lahore and announced joining the party.

Toori and Afridi said that PPP was the only party which worked for the people of Fata and had taken steps to solve the problems of the people of FATA.

The former president, while welcoming the new entrants, said that the founder of PPP Shaheed Zulfikar Ali Bhutto used to call Fata a part of paradise.

Meanwhile, President PPP central Punjab Qamar Zaman Kaira, former MNA Mujtaba Khar and Chairman Baldia Renala Malik Tariq as well as several councillors also called on the former president.

Talking to the visiting office-holders, Zardari said that PPP had always worked for the people living in far-flung areas. He said after winning the elections, the PPP would again work for them. He asked the visiting delegations to rally around PPP Chairman Bilawal Bhutto Zardari and become his strength.
