Criminal activity: Rawalpindi police arrest 4 member gang of robbers
The suspects confessed snatching cell phones and motorcycles and various other crimes in Rawalpindi and nearby areas

Rawalpindi police have busted a four-member inter-district dacoits’ gang, recovering stolen cash, gold ornaments and weapons from their possession. According to SSP Operations Muhammad Bin Ashraf,a police team after hectic efforts managed to arrest suspects including Asghar Ali Shah, Muhammad Siddique, Mukhtar Hussain and Sheikh Muhammad Zayarab who were members of an inter-district gang of robbers and were involved in many cases, he said.
During the investigation, he said, the suspects confessed snatching cell phones and motorcycles, and various other crimes in Rawalpindi and nearby districts. The police also recovered gold ornaments worth Rs150,000, Rs400,500 and 490 UK pounds in cash, furthermore they also recovered mobile phones worth Rs150,000, and a Kalashnikov, a 44-bore rifle and two 30-bore pistols.
