Cylinder blast damages OLMT station

Blast occurred due to a gas-leakage according to police

LAHORE: An Orange Line Metro Station (OLMT) was damaged when a gas cylinder exploded near Garhi Shahu on Tuesday. The blast occurred due to a gas-leakage, said police. The incident not only damaged the shop but the station too. A passer-by named Muhammad Amir suffered minor injuries in the incident. Police, forensic experts and other investigators reached the spot. Rescue teams shifted the injured to a nearby hospital.
