Islamabad Police has introduced a software called 'Hotel Eye System' to maintain record of people visiting guest houses. The software will be connected with Criminal Record Office and NADRA.
This was announced by Inspector General of Police Dr Sultan Azam Temuri while chairing a meeting with owners of guest houses. The meeting was attended among others by SSP Islamabad Najeeb-ur-Rehman and office bearers of the Guest House Association.
The IGP said that all guests would be given their own respective usernames and passwords and complete data of all visitors and staff would be inserted in the software.
He also requested that guest house owners, staff and visitors inform him by calling 0333-8966689 in case of any inappropriate action taken by police officials, assuring that names of informer would be kept secret.
Temuri urged them to earn their livelihood in a dignified manner and also warned to seal any guest houses that were discovered to be involved in immoral activities.
