A 5.6-magnitude earthquake jolted many towns of Khyber-Pakhtunkhwa (K-P) province, spreading fear among residents on Saturday night.
The epicenter of the quake was at the depth of 200 kilometres in Hindu Kush mountain area of Afghanistan, Express News reported.
Tremors were felt in Chitral, Batkhela, Bunir, Swat, Shangla, Malakand, Dir and Swabi districts among other areas of the province.
No loss of life or property has been reported after the earthquake.

In Swat Valley, a visitor in a local hotel had passed away due to a heart attack as a result of jolts in the building.
