Two children killed in Mohmand Agency landmine blast

Two children were killed and one injured in a landmine blast in Mohmand Agency on Monday.
The explosion occurred when a pickup van hit a landmine in the Qandharu area. Two children were killed on the spot while one was injured.
The injured child is being treated at a local hospital.
Earlier, one security personnel was killed and five others injured in landmine explosion in the Alingar area of Mohmand Agency.
As reported earlier in The Express Tribune, one security personnel was killed and five others sustained injuries in a landmine explosion in Alingar area of Mohmand Agency last month.
In yet another incident, mortar shells were fired upon Behaie camp, targeting government offices in the Behaie Zai sub-division of Mohmand Agency. Security forces targeted suspected hideouts with heavy artillery fire.
